Coding for Interactive Installations and Creative Projects
Coding for Creativity was a half day workshop aimed at artists and youth who want to create interactive installations or just learn how to code in more creative ways.
Whangarei Art Museum hosted and sponsored the workshop in conjunction with The Plant Room exhibit as a way of building capacity in the local community.
The workshop provided an introduction to using hardware like Raspberry Pi, Micro-Controllers and Sensors as well as a taste of P5JS and Processing Languages.
